The offense has struggled this season, but star CF Julio Rodriguez is beginning to regain last year’s all-star form. Luckily for the Mariners, SP Bryce Miller has given the pitching staff a major boost by posting a 0.47 ERA over his first three MLB starts.

While everyone expects stellar play from OF Mike Trout and SP Shohei Ohtani, the Angels have been pleasantly surprised with OF Hunter Renfroe, who leads the team with 10 home runs and 4 outfielder assists.
- St. Louis Cardinals +4000
Things have been ugly in St. Louis this season, with the Cardinals sitting in the basement of the NL Central. This team is no stranger to mid-season comebacks but has their work cut out for them this year as they already trail Milwaukee by 7.5 games.
- Baltimore Orioles +4500
The Orioles are loaded with young talent and the team has looked good in 2023, putting up the second-best record in all of baseball up to this point. Much of the success is attributed to their bullpen, which ranks second in the MLB with a 2.94 ERA.
- Boston Red Sox +5500
The Red Sox are a few games above .500 but that simply isn’t good enough when you’re playing in the best division in baseball. Pitching has been the problem in Boston, with the team owning the fourth-worst ERA in the majors at 5.07.
- Cleveland Guardians +6500
Despite adding DH Josh Bell and C Mike Zunino over the winter, offensive production remains an issue for Cleveland. The Guardians are 29th in runs scored (145) and dead last in hits (312), however they’re only 4.5 games back in the AL Central.
- Arizona Diamondbacks +9000
The Diamondbacks remain within arm’s reach of the Dodgers in the NL West and have enjoyed a number of bright spots so far this season, including SP Zac Gallen, OF Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and 24-year-old OF prospect Dominic Fletcher.
- Chicago Cubs +9000
After starting the season surprisingly well, the Cubs have since cooled off and looked pretty bad over the past few weeks. While Chicago has gotten decent performances from OF Christopher Morel as of late, this team has its share of deficiencies.
- San Francisco Giants +9000
The Bay Area has witnessed some incredible play out of rookie 3B Casey Schmitt, but even that hasn’t been enough to lift this team above the .500 mark. It doesn’t help that DH Joc Pederson remains out due to injury and OF Mitch Haniger is batting .172 on the campaign.
- Miami Marlins +10000
It’s been a disappointing start for SP Sandy Alcantara, as last year’s NL Cy Young winner has struggled early and owns a 4.91 ERA. Pitching is a strength for this Marlins team and they’ll need their ace to regain his form if they want to make the playoffs.
- Pittsburgh Pirates +12500
After flying out the gate to start the season 20-8, the Pirates have fallen back down to earth and have recently been surpassed by the Brewers at the top of the NL Central. The good news is that they play in a weak division and sit just two games back of Milwaukee.
- Chicago White Sox +20000
The good news is that 25-year-old OF Luis Robert Jr. has looked great, putting up 12 home runs and 28 RBI in just 42 games. The bad news is the rest of the team has looked terrible and that doesn’t seem likely to change any time soon.
- Detroit Tigers +50000
There’s not much to get excited about for the Tigers this season, with the notable exception of SP Eduardo Rodriguez. The 30-year-old left-hander has MLB’s second-best ERA (1.57) and leads all pitchers in WAR (2.4).
- Cincinnati Reds +75000
The Reds have actually looked half-decent the last few weeks, having gone 12-8 since getting swept by the Pirates back in April. They may not be World Series contenders, but Cincinnati has held their own since losing 1B Joey Votto earlier in the year.
- Kansas City Royals +75000
The Royals have been tough to watch this season and are currently last in the less than stellar AL Central. Having only won 13 games so far this season, it’s looking like it will be a long season in Kansas City.
- Colorado Rockies +100000
The Rockies remain one of the worst teams in baseball but Colorado has been playing well as of late, posting a 9-5 record so far this month. One reason for that is SP Kyle Freeland, who has a 1.00 ERA over three starts in May.
- Washington Nationals +100000
Washington is a surprising 10-10 on the road, but their 8-4 mark at home is a stern reminder that this team still has a long way to go. On the bright side, starting pitchers Josiah Gray and Mackenzie Gore are showing a ton of promise.
- Oakland Athletics +125000
With the lowly Oakland A’s still searching for win No. 10 on the season, it’s tough to argue that this is the worst team in baseball. At their current pace, Oakland is on track to go an atrocious 35-127.
