It will be a clash of future Hall of Fame quarterbacks this weekend when Tom Brady and the New England Patriots host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night as 6-point favorites on the NFL Week 9 odds.

Brady has led New England to five straight victories, capped by a lopsided 25-6 win over Buffalo as 13.5-point road chalk on Monday, which lifted the team to an AFC-leading 6-2 record going into Sunday night’s matchup at Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots offense has been firing on all cylinders during their current tear, scoring 38 or more points on four occasions and averaging 39.7 points per game in three straight victories on home turf. New England has also built their current win streak on strong performances in primetime.

In addition to Monday’s win in Buffalo, two of the Patriots’ recent home victories have come under the lights, including a 43-30 win over the visiting Kansas City Chiefs as 3.5-point chalk three weeks ago.

Conversely, it has been a roller coaster campaign for the Packers, who limp into New England after coming up short in a 29-27 loss to the undefeated Los Angeles Rams as 7.5-point road underdogs. With last week’s loss, Green Bay fell to a middling 3-3-1 on the season, and outside of the playoff picture in the NFC.

Rodgers led the Packers to victory the last time he faced Brady and the Patriots, tallying a 26-21 win as 1.5-point chalk in a November 2014 date at Lambeau Field, but he will be making his first-ever appearance at Gillette Stadium in Sunday night’s contest.

Saints Betting Favorites Hosting Undefeated Rams

In other action on the NFL Week 9 lines, the top two teams in the NFC clash as the New Orleans Saints play host to the Rams as narrow 1.5-point favorites, and the Baltimore Ravens host the Pittsburgh Steelers as 3-point favorites in a critical AFC North matchup.

The Rams have averaged 33 points per game while amassing an 8-0 straight-up record that has made them +275 favorites on the Super Bowl odds. However, Los Angeles has escaped with victories by narrow margins in three of their past four outings, including slim wins in road dates with Denver and Seattle while favored by seven or more points on the NFL odds.

Conversely, the Saints have outclassed opponents by double-digit margins in three of their past four victories, and have averaged 32.4 points per game during a 10-1 SU run at the Superdome. New Orleans also routed the Rams in their past two home matchups, but continue to lag behind Los Angeles as a +275 bet on the NFC championship odds.

The Steelers will be seeking revenge for a 26-14 defeat as 3-point betting chalk at home to the rival Ravens on September 30. Overall Ben Roethlisberger and company are just 4-6 SU and 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games against Baltimore dating back to 2014. The Steelers, though, are 3-0 both SU and ATS in their last three games heading into Sunday’s contest.
