Mayweather vs. McGregor Props Roundup

Mayweather vs. McGregor Props Roundup - Bovada Sportsbook

Oddsmakers have kept busy ahead of this weekend’s highly anticipated clash in the ring between undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. and reigning UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor.

With odds available on over 100 prop bets, Saturday night’s fight at T-Mobile Arena has quickly joined the ranks of major events like the Super Bowl and March Madness as one of the most popular sports betting events of the year.

Mayweather remains a strong -400 favorite on the boxing odds to vanquish McGregor, who trails as a +300 underdog in his professional boxing debut. However, the array of prop bets available also includes wagering on a number of non-boxing related elements of Saturday’s spectacle in Las Vegas.

Rapper Lil Wayne, a long-time member of Mayweather’s entourage, is expected to be on hand again this weekend. The New Orleans native has accompanied Mayweather on his entrances at previous fights and is a +155 bet to appear shirtless during Saturday’s pre-fight walkout.

Following the announcement of this weekend’s clash between Mayweather and McGregor, there was plenty of speculation that US President Donald Trump, a long-time friend of UFC president Dana White, would attend the fight. The president has confirmed that he will not be at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday, and sports -155 odds of sending OVER 6.5 tweets on the day of the fight, while a quiet day of fewer than 6.5 tweets is pegged at a longer +110.

Arena Entrance Props Kick off the Event

Promotional events in advance of Saturday’s bout have laid bare the mammoth egos of these two fighters, which will likely be on full display as they each enter the arena.

A 21-year veteran of the boxing game, and a winner of nine major world titles, Mayweather is expected to dominate during his entrance, with heavy -230 odds of having more people with him during his pre-fight walkout, and -155 odds of enjoying a longer walkout to the ring.

Conversely, McGregor is at +160 to have the larger escort to the ring, and is a +110 bet to take longer to get to the ring than Mayweather, who is also a -400 wager to be sporting a “The Money Team” hat.

In other fight-related props, McGregor, who is noted in MMA circles for both his punching power and Brazilian jiu-jitsu skills, is a long +700 wager to be penalized or disqualified for throwing a kick in the ring, but is also a -450 favorite to be the first fighter to bleed in Saturday’s contest.

However, the odds of either fighter losing his mouthpiece during the fight sit at a distant +300.
