Streaking Chelsea Favorites on EPL Odds - Bovada Sportsbook

With eight straight victories Chelsea has rocketed to the top of the English Premier League table, and they sit as a strong +120 favorite to emerge as league champions this season.

The Blues are coming off a 3-1 victory over rival Manchester City last weekend, lifting the club’s record in league action to a 11-1-2 ahead of this Sunday’s matchup against West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea’s last defeat came over two months ago, a 3-0 loss to Arsenal, the Blues’ closest competition on the Premier League table.

The Gunners have gone undefeated in 13 straight games since dropping a 4-3 decision to Liverpool in their season opener to improve to 9-4-1 on the season. But after settling for draws in recent matchups with Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Leicester City, Arsenal trails the favorites on the EPL championship odds at +650.

Manchester City Sits Second on EPL Futures

Manchester City has fallen off the pace with just three victories in their past eight matches, dropping the club into a third-place tie with Liverpool, four points back of Chelsea. That has done little to impact the Citizens’ odds of claiming their first Premier League title since 2014, though, as they trail only Chelsea at +300.

Liverpool is coming off a 4-3 loss to Bournemouth last weekend, ending a brief three-game unbeaten streak, and remains among the title favorites with +450 odds.

Tottenham Hotspur sits just below the line with a 7-6-1 record and 27 points after handing Swansea City a 5-0 beating last weekend, and leads the best of the rest on the EPL championship odds at +2000.

And Manchester United has struggled to a 5-6-3 record, but has shown signs of turning the corner with three wins and three draws in its past six games. They remain a factor on the EPL futures at +5000.

Everton Among Longshots on the Title Odds

Everton has fallen into a seventh-place tie with West Brom after posting a pair of draws and a pair of losses in its past four games, and sits well back +75000 on the futures. That has them ahead of five clubs at +100000, including defending champion Leicester City, Southampton, Stoke City, West Ham United, and Bournemouth.

Middlesborough and Swansea City are deadlocked at +150000, followed by Watford FC, Hull City, and Sunderland at +200000, while Burnley trails as a distant +250000 longshot.
