UNDER Favored on Eagles 2018 NFL Win Totals

UNDER Favored on Eagles 2018 NFL Win Totals - Bovada Sportsbook

The Philadelphia Eagles emerged as the class of the NFC last season, winning 13 games after defying the oddsmakers during their march to victory in Super Bowl LII. However, as NFL teams prepare to open OTA offseason workouts, the Eagles have emerged as a -140 wager to tally UNDER 10.5 regular season wins next season on the 2018 NFL win totals.

The Eagles far exceeded expectations after opening last season as a lengthy +4000 bet on the Super Bowl odds. The team rose to the occasion in the face of adversity, particularly quarterback Nick Foles, who stepped in to take over the Eagles offense following a season-ending injury to starter and NFL MVP favorite Carson Wentz in early December.

Named Super Bowl MVP after leading the Eagles to a stunning 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots as 4.5-point underdogs, Foles inked a deal last month that will keep him in Philadelphia next season.

Other offseason moves saw the Eagles land defensive end Michael Bennett and cornerback Daryl Worley by trade, and sign linebacker Nigel Bradham and wide receiver Mike Wallace. Those moves have kept the Eagles perched as +500 favorites to repeat as NFC champions, and trailing only the Patriots as a +850 Super Bowl bet.

The Patriots joined Philadelphia with 13 regular-season wins in 2017, and sit as a strong -145 wager to post OVER 11 victories on the 2018 NFL regular season win totals.

It has been a busy offseason in New England. The Patriots parted ways with receivers Brandin Cooks and Danny Amendola, but landed a Rose Bowl hero with the 31st pick in the NFL Draft, selecting Alabama rusher Sony Michel, who scored four times including the game winner in the Crimson Tide’s 54-48 overtime victory over Georgia.

Vikings at 10 on 2018 NFL Regular Season Win Totals

Two other teams won 13 games last season, but look to be headed in opposite directions in 2018 NFL win totals betting.

With a 13-3 record, the Vikings turned in their best regular season since winning 15 games in 1998, and are expected to compile a double-digit win total once again in 2018, with solid -130 odds of winning OVER 10 games.

Conversely, the Steelers saw their 13-3 season spoiled by a 45-42 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars as 7-point favorites in their AFC divisional playoff matchup, and are expected to take a significant step back in 2018, with heavy -125 odds of Pittsburgh winning UNDER 10.5 games. Despite those tempered expectations, the Steelers remain favorites to win a third straight AFC North title with -260 odds on the NFL futures.

After finishing atop the AFC South in consecutive seasons the Houston Texans struggled to just four wins and a last-place finish in 2017, but own strong odds in betting on NFL win totals, pegged as a -150 wager to win OVER 8.5 games.

The Dallas Cowboys are also expected to at least match last year’s nine wins, listed as a -125 wager to post OVER 8.5 victories. The Green Bay Packers own +110 odds to win OVER 10 games, while the Seattle Seahawks are expected to endure their first losing campaign since 2011, pegged as a -140 wager to win UNDER eight games.
